We’ve recently run into a lot of issues with the In-App Mobile Browsers on Facebook and Twitter, so I thought I’d publish the User Agents for these browsers to help others looking for the same information.
Particularly, the issue we were experiencing was sites that were linked to from Facebook and Twitter, which had links in a post that were supposed to open in a new window with target=”_blank” were just leading to “about:blank” pages and not redirecting. Based on the user agent we’ve changed the links to
target="_self", which I know is bad practice but until we notify all the editors to stop using
target="_blank" I don’t see an easier workaround.

Listen to this song. Then pre-order their album. Its that simple. Its not a recommendation. Its a privilege.

So since July, Gillian and I have been living in Rego Park, Queens. Closer to friends and family is always a good thing, with just the right touch of solitude. It really is wonderful sometimes that I can’t imagine it to be true.
Been working a lot. iOS 5 was also finally released. Exciting times. Expect a site refresh soon.
